The Notice of Intant (NOI) letter submitted for the project referenced above has been reviewed by
the Indiana Department of Environmental Manag~aerit (IDEM) to determine compliance with the
requirements of the NPDES general permit for storm water discharge associated with construction
activity (327 IAC 15-5). The items contained in the NOI are sufficient and construction activity
may commence 48 hours after notification to this office and the agency that completed the plan
review.
An NPDES general permit identification number has been asmgned to this project. This number
and the above referenced project name should be included on any correspondence or amended
NOI information submitted to IDEM pertaining to this project. The general permit number
assigned to this project is: INR103909.
It is important that all activities associated with your site are in compliance with the requirements
of 327 IAC 15-5 (Rule 5) and any local storm water permits. In accordance with 327 IAC 15-5,
10, you are required to implement your construction plan, implement and maintain all storm water
quality measures, and monitor the effectiveness of the storm water quality measures until the
project is complete.

Dear Mr. Ochs:
When you met with Lee Scrogham of Electrical Contracting Services, Inc. (ECSI) on Wednesday. August 30. 2006. to
discuss electrical concerns for gelling the permanent power turned on, a discussion occurred regarding the proximity 0'
ductwork in Iront of the main distribution panel. As I understand the situation a 36" clear area in front of the panelboard
needs to be maintained as required by the NEC. Consequently, ductwork needs to be reworked in order to mainta.n thiS
clearance.
If you find this solution acceptable. what we propose to do is stub the return air duct through Ihe west wall where il enters
the electrical room, use the room as a free air return and duct the return through the north wall of the room inlo the
1urnace in the mechanical room. This will provide the proper clearance in front of the panelboard. We feei this is
permllled per the International Mechanical Code Section 802.2.1.4.
We would appreciate your review of this solution and seek your comments in this matter so that we may move this project
10rward in a positive direction.
