However,the site is also located in the US 31 Con-idor Overlay District which prohibits further residential development. 'Therefore, the site must be rezoned to accommodate future development. The requested rezoning of the northern portion of the site to the B-6 classification would allow for high intensity office,hotel or retail development consistent with the current Carmel/Clay Township Comprehensive Land Use Plan recommendations and the Carmel/Clay 2020 Vision plan recommendations.
