Dear Mr. Reis:
At the meeting held Monday, February 24,2014,the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the
following action regarding the Special Use Amendment(SUA)and Development Standard Variance(V)filed by you for
the property located at 13225 Illinois Street.
APPROVED:Docket Nos. 14010015 SUA and 14010016 V: Special Use Amendment for expansion of approved
Special Use(greater than 10 percent requested)and Development Standard Variance for maximum lot coverage(35%
permitted,38.5%requested)with the Condition all issues of the Engineering Department are resolved.
Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05. Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance,the aforementioned Development
Standard Variance approval is valid for three(3)years.By that time,either continuous construction of the improvements
must be underway,or a written request for a one-time,six-month extension of the approval must have been received and
approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is February 24,2017.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit applications
