ADVISORY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
DOCKET NO 14030001 V; 14030002 V
Notice is hereby given that the Carmel/Clay Board of Zoning Appeals
will meet on the 24th day of March, 2014 at 5:15 pm in the City Hall Caucus
Rooms, 1 Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032 and hold a Public Hearing upon
a Development Standards Variance application to permit the construction of an in
ground pool and concrete deck on Applicant's property.
To facilitate such construction, Applicant has requested variances from
Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance Chapter 25.01.01 C.8.a.i. to permit a side yard
setback of 6' instead of the required 10' and Chapter 25.01.01 C.8.a. to permit
the building of a concrete pool deck within 1'of a drainage and utility easement
instead of the required 3' and to permit construction within 16' of the rear
property line notwithstanding a 20' building setback line in the rear.
The subject property affected by the application is owned by Abe and
Jennifer Weldy and is known as 14482 Smickle Lane, Carmel, Indiana 46033
and has a legal description of Lot 14, Cherry Tree Grove, Carmel, and County of
Hamilton, Indiana.
The application is identified as Docket No. 14030001 V; 14030002 V.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above
application, either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard
at the above - mentioned time and place.

copy enclosed -- and they said they provide Proof of Publication directly to you —
is that correct or do I need to still provide the referenced Proof of Publication ?)
5 Placement of Public Notice Sign Affidavit
Once we get the green cards from the certified mail service and the Proof of Publication,
I will make sure you get it. Since there will only be 3 green cards, can I just email you a
copy of them?
