Commission to 'consider U.S. 31 Overlay Zone Development Plan and Architectural Design, Lighting, Landscaping and Sign Application for Ritz Charles, a banquet and meeting facility to be located at approx . 12000 N. Meridian St. between Hoff Chiropractic Clinic and Aero Drapery Mart in B-6 andU.S. 31 Overlay Zones . Filed by James K. Wheeler for Ritz Charles . Mr. Wheeler made the presentation for Mr. Chuck Lazara' s proposal to construct a banquet hall in B-6 and U.S. 31 Overlay Zones . Mr. Lazara, 10448 Song Ct. , Carmel , explained his plan for a first class banquet facility for businesses, meetings, receptions etc . An artist' s rendering and the site and floor plans were shown. The building will be brick veneer with silver or metal copper canopy. There will be 15,286 sq. ft . in the facility and 113 parking spaces . The petitioner requests only one sign which will be located on the access road and not on U.S. 31 . A rendering of the gray background with plum lettered sign was shown. This item was sent to the Industrial and Commercial Committee for review on November 29, 1983 at 8:00 P.M. at the City Meeting Hall. The special meeting of the Plan Commission to consider items 2g and 3g will be at 7 : 30 P.M . on November 29, 1983 at the City Meeting Hall . 2i . Commission to consider Final Plat Application for Thistlewood Sub- division, Section I , 32 lots on 13.862 acres, located on north side of Smokey Row Rd. (136th St. ) between Spring Mill Rd. and Oak Ridge ji Road in S-2 zoning. Filed by Stan Neal for Robert Langston. Mr. Langston was present. Mr. Stan Neal , of Weihe Engineering, made the presentation showing the plat. This item was sent to the Subdivision Committee for review on November 29, 1983 at approximately 8:00 P.M. at the City Meeting Hall. 3i . Commission to consider Final Plat Application for Woodacre II , 31 lots on 8.524 acres , Cluster Subdivision, located north of W. Main St. be- tween Woodacre Dr. and Thornhurst Dr. in R-2 zoning. Filed by Stan Neal for Hughey Construction. Mr. Hughey and Mr. Neal were present. Mr. Doug Floyd made the presentation showing the plat . The official name is Woodacre West. Mr. Boone questioned sidewalks on 131st Street. Mrs. McMullen moved to suspend the rules and consider this item this evening. Seconded by Mr. Story. Mr. Terry disqualified himself from participating in this item. Motion carried to suspend the rules with Mr. Boone voting NO. Mr. Albright moved to approve the Final Plat for Woodacre II as presented. Seconded by Mr. Ellis. 4 Motion carried with Mr. Boone voting NO . 4i. Commission to consider Reapproval of Final Plat Application for Mohawk Crossing, Section 5, 21 lots on 9.403 acres, located on south side of E. Main St. east of Gray Rd. in S-1 zoning. Filed by Joe Sharp for Mohawk- Crossing.
