before the Carmel Board Of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer considering Docket Nos.:
14030003 V, 14030004 V and 14030005 V was registered and mailed at least ten(10) days prior
to the date of the public hearing to the adjacent property owners listed in the exhibit attached
hereto and made a part hereof; and(2)that placement of the public notice sign to consider the

Dear Property Owner:
Attached to this letter is a notice of a forthcoming meeting of the Carmel Board of
Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer to be held on Monday, the 24th day of March, 2014 at 5:15 p.m.
in the Carmel City Hall, Caucus Rooms. Carmel Hotel LLC is requesting approval of
Development Standards Variances to the Cannel Zoning Ordinance to eliminate the greenbelt
requirement, to reduce the build-to line along U.S. 31/North Meridian Street, and to increase
maximum parcel coverage at the existing hotel located near the southeast corner of North
Meridian Street and Old Meridian Street, all resulting from the U.S. 31 upgrade. I have enclosed
the formal Notice of Public Hearing.
This is a public hearing and you may want to attend; however, your attendance is not
required. If you have any questions or would like any additional information, please feel free to

Notice is hereby given that the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer, at a meeting
on Monday, the 24th day of March, 2014 at 5:15 p.m. in the City Hall Caucus Rooms, 1 Civic
Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, will hold a Public Hearing upon an application for a
Development Standards Variances to the Carmel Zoning Ordinance to eliminate the greenbelt
requirements, to reduce the build-to line along U.S. 31/North Meridian Street, and to increase
maximum parcel coverage at the existing hotel located near the southeast corner of North
Meridian Street and Old Meridian Street at 11925 North Meridian Street, all resulting from the
U.S. 31 upgrade.
The application is identified as Docket Nos.: 14030003 V, 14030004 V and 14030005 V.
The real estate affected by said application is located near the southeast corner of U.S. 31 and
Old Meridian Street.
The application and supplementary documentation may be viewed at the City of Carmel
Department of Community Services, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana, 46032. All interested
persons desiring to present their views on the above application, either in writing or verbally,
will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place, or may file
written comments with the Department of Community Services prior to the hearing. The hearing
may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
