Changes in the U S. Highway 31 Overlay zone and the right-of-way takings make it impractical to meet the requirements where inadequate room exists for the required landscaping. The parking variances were legally existing non-conforming uses prior to the right-of-way takings and the need for the variances result from a combination of said takings and prior conforming uses. The purpose of this letter and enclosed Notice is to inform you that a petition has been filed with the City of Carmel in regards to the above-mentioned matter.
