Subject: Barrington of Carmel Fence Plan
Importance: High
Angie:
We are submitting the attached latest Fence Plan, for the Barrington of Carmel, for your review and approval. We have
made the requested revisions to the plan that have been mentioned by you, Darren Mendham and others at the City.
The plan also responds to Gary Duncan’s concerns for the Pond Drainage Easement and BMP access. The easement
proposal will be submitted under a separate cover by Roger Ward Engineering.
The fence is set back from the Guilford Road frontage 25 feet as suggested, and remains at a 6’ height with the setback.
The gates remain as a future options.
The fence was realigned to miss the ‘tree preservation’ area along the south-southeast alignment.
The grubbing and clearing of existing vegetation along the east property line has been deleted.
The fence alignment through the Duke Energy Easement still meets Duke’s approval.
The BMP’s north of, and adjacent to, the north entry drive are accessible from Guilford, outside of the fence and within
the proposed easement.
Access to the remaining pond/drainage easement remains through the north entry drive, which is now proposed as part
of the easement.
We believe all concerns and issues have been addressed, and request final approval of the ornamental fence
