BPW-04-02-14-01 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, APPROVING PRESENTATION OF PISTOL AND BADGE WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works of the City of Carmel is empowered by IC 36-1- 1 1-8 to declare items of personal property surplus items; and WHEREAS, pursuant to IC 36-I-11-8 a transfer or exchange of property may be made with governmental entity upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the entities as evidenced by adoption of a substantially identical resolution by each entity. Such a transfer may be made for any amount of real property, cash, or other personal property, as agreed upon by the entities; and WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Carmel has certain items that are surplus property and that may be transferred and are valued at less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) total. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works and Safety, as follows: Section 1. The foregoing Recitals are incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2. The following mentioned surplus items may be presented upon retirement of Michael R. Dixon, pursuant to the existing policy of the Carmel Police Department at the instruction of the Chief of Police: Glock Model 22, 40 Cal. Pistol Carmel Police Department.
