The top chord of the jacks frames into the top chord of the hip girder truss or at the comers into the hip rafter. The bottom chord of the jacks frames into the bottom chord of t~ hip girder truss. The hip raftcr frames into the top chord of the hip girder mss at its corner where the top chord changes from sloping to flat. Hangers are uonnallynot needed for any of these connections. These two piecejacks and hip rafters should 1~ regarded ~ the same as if they had been stick.framed.
