HomeMy WebLinkAboutFindings of Fact CARMEL/CLAY ADVISORY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS FINDINGS OF FACT-DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS VARIANCE Docket No.: 14070001V Petitioner: Pittman Partners The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community because: The requested variance will actually improve stormwater quality and in doing so provide a benefit to public health, safety, morals and general welfare . 2. The use and value of the area adjacent to the property included in the variance will not be affected in a substantially adverse manner because: The requested variance provides for minimal revision to the huilt environment . Further the revisions exist entirely within our site on private streets . These revisions will be almost imperceptible. 3. The strict application of the terms of the Zoning Ordinance to the property will result in practical difficulties in the use of the property because: gtormwater drainage will he addressed in a more traditional manner without the benefits of natural systems to improve water quality and the aesthetics of these necessary systems . DECISION IT IS THEREFORE the decision of the Carmel/Clay Board of Zoning Appeals that Development Standards Variance Docket No. 14020001V is granted, subject to any conditions stated in the minutes of this Board,which are incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof.
