The west side of this lot faces a street that terminates north of the proposed addition and only one other home is located off that portion of the dead-end street. The addition will add additional garage and living space to the home and will match the existing architecture. The variance should not have a negative effect on surrounding properties. The proposed setback of 20 feet will meet the setback of a side yard. The Department is in support of these variances. Recommendation: After all comments and concerns have been addressed, the Dept. of Community Services recommends approval of Docket No. 14040003 V. 2
