' ' :,.l#► , __ along with the almost 30 feet separation between the Monon
pavement and their yard. The Monon Greenway is an amenity,
which can be seen by what appears to be an existing connection the petitioner has from their yard to the Monon. It is the
City's policy to permit 6 foot fences in rear yards to prevent a walled off, tunnel look and promote a sense of community.
An 8 foot tall fence may have a negative effect on the character of the Monon Greenway, but the Department is willing to
compromise with 7 feet.
Petitioner's Findings of Fact:
Please refer to the petitioner's information packet for their Findings of Fact.
Recommendation: After all comments and concerns have been addressed, the Dept. of Community Services
recommends favorable consideration of Docket No. 14030011 V, if the fence height is reduced to 7 feet.
