(Docket No. 14050007SU) Be advised the Carmel Fire Dept. requires all plan submittals to be hard copy and too scale. Additionally,the plans submitted indicate this building will be protected with an automatic fire sprinkler system. The submitted utility plans do not show the required Fire Department Connection for the fire sprinkler system, with a Fire Hydrant located within 100 feet. They also do not show the required post indicator valve on a Fire sprinkler system water main. The locations for these fire protection system devices must be approved by the Carmel Fire Dept. Has an emergency vehicle circulation plan been developed for this proposed project, showing that our fire apparatus can properly navigate the parking lot and vehicle access routes. To avoid delays to your project the above mention items need to be addressed as soon as possible with revised plans submitted for review. Capt.
