Dear Mr. Freeman:
At the meeting held Tuesday, May 27,2014,the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action
regarding the Development Standard Variances(V)filed by you for the property located at 450 l Avenue SE.
APPROVED:Docket Nos.14040015 V and 14040016 V:Development Standard Variance for minimum front yard
setback(30 feet required, 12 feet requested)and maximum lot coverage(35%required,37%requested).
Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance,the aforementioned Development
Standard Variance approvals are valid for three(3)years. By that time,either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway,or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approvals must have
been received and approval granted by this Department.The expiration date of the approval is May 27,2017.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
