The Ciry Engineer,Kate Wcese,is out of town and will not return until Friday, August 2. Sl�e has not been
abie to revic�v the rc��ised dra«�ng and response letter dated July 24, 2002. Ho�eever,I}wve notified City
of Cazmel Buiiding and Code Enforcement tliat they may proceed and schedule the pre-submittal meeting.
However,we have asked that�he building perniit not be issued until Ihe City Engincer has reviewcd and
approved the plans for this development. In Kate's absence,I havc reviewed the revised dra��ing and offer
the following addi[ional comments:

Please provide a Title Sheet foi Uie drawings including the project name and address,location map and all
other ifems[ypically provided on TiUe Sheets. When the City Engineer approves the dtawings for tlus
project�we will require five-sets of cepified consWClion d�awings(civil). The City Engineer and Utility
Director will sign the diawings. One signed and approved setmusTbe maintained on Uie consVuction site
at all times. One set is given to our public works inspector,two sets aze give to Carmel Utilities and one set
is maintained in the Department of Engineering.
The City Engineermay have additional comments regazding tlie revised drawing provided. If you have
