0 m POOI. NOTES h Q I. Pool contractor Is responsible for the quality of workmanship, superintendence and scheduling of work under their and their subcontractor's agreement. Contractor 04111 be solely responsible for this work and shall promptly correct (at contractor's expense) and defective 04ork during the construction of the project or the warranty period thereafter. Q 2. The pool contractor shall provide construction methods and compatible components required for complete and operable systems for swimming pool, fountain/ and or spa Including but not limited to excavation of construction area, and removal of excess earth from the site. The pool contractor is responsible for meeting local state and codes and permitting on the following: all pool equipment, piping, pool shell, tile, depth markers, pool handrails, pool steps, coping safety equipment, t electrical work and and other pool related Items. 3. Pool contractor is to notify the Architect and the owner In writing of any state or local code deflclencles prior to construction, and shall be responsible for submittals and reviews to government agencies. Contractor assumes all responsibility for and deflclencles not brought to the attention of the Architect and owner. 4. The owner of owner's management shall be responsible for Installation and maintenance of pool warning signs and the pool contractor shall be responsible for supplying safety equipment to comply wlth state and local codes. 5. The general contractor is responsible for rough grading In the pool area. The grade provided Q shall be within six inches of finished grade before pool excavation begins. Refer to civil for all finish grade Information. it 6. The pool contractor will stake out the pool and set the finished grade. The Architect or owner wlll be notified and approve this work prior to excavation. Pool lights and junction boxes to be Installed per state and local code by pool contractor. 8. Required utilities at the pool filter Iocatlon to be supplied by the general contractor. 9. Location and size of area drains and deck drains as wall as P.V.G. drain lines to be determined by the civil engineer, and shall be submitted to the architect for approval. 10. All post lights and landscape lighting shall be a minimum of 10' -0" from the pool water's edge or as required by local codes and guidelines. II. Pool to be grounded per code. 12. Pool walls, floor and beams to be reinforced gunite. 13. All pool enclosure gates and fences to comply with state and local codes. 14. All piping shall be 24" deep minlmum in all planting areas, and routed around proposed or existing trees. (reference Landscape Architect plans.) Pool contractor will be responsible for rerouting lines if raqulred and determined by architect, owner or landscape architect. 15. Pool depth markers to be Installed flush wlth pool deck per state and local codes. 18. All wlndo04s that exit directly Into an enclosed pool area shall be inoperable. A. Handicapped pool lift by: Recresonics (1 -800- 428 -3284) This equipment shall be kept on site and available to resident use. DO NOT LEAVE EQUIPMENT UNATTENDED IN THE POOL AREA. 20. Pool contractor shall be responsible for coordination of all pre - drilling for necessary piping required for fountains. 21. Pool contractor is "Designer of Record ". 22.
