The meeting lasted approximately two and one half hours from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. We were presented with conceptual sketches and verbiage by Justus personnel of possible proposed changes to amend the application which was originally submitted for the Woodland Terrace project. Much discussion and many questions were asked in an- effort to understand the proposed changes. As the discussion ensued, some previous concerns were discussed and some new issues and concerns Were brought out based on information from City of Carmel personnel and from Justus personnel. Due to the date of the meeting, the 4 of July weekend and the July 5th Meeting of the Plan Commission subcommittee, we respectively request that the PC subcommittee postpone any decision on the proposed changes to Woodland Terrace until more definitive data is received from Justus personnel for detail review by all concerned. Prior to the request f or the Friday meeting., we were in process of obtaining architectural renderings which o€ kl .z.,:Fx§nati all i^ k t" 2 t EEh},eJli Te 4 he a I) s i ory: 1 e n d. ai WO s k or h .i s a' a x g g 'ri1g_„kt::i.C' 3£..:.k. >1 t ,.rerw .....:eY4 L.ti 8 :w::,tY S rl v'; x..:s t: i >'z. ..xz 5.. r ...L..k, the t r ana pli` aeon f r r m h±nd Terrace, (Lint a 1t att r IV, ent thew.. tenderinp the PC ;"F i t.C t T 9 1 5th i review if t ti Obviously, these l i 4EL.,a...assai7_:...__ .,i:,;al 5th i,: €1`'t:f h___ v'4.".tb'.al__ xr3sC___.,aftn. l :..cs;aT :C .IrYdGg would to changed after we receive definitive and written data from Justus personnel. For your review of the KPHOA drawings, we will place them in your office box at Carmel City Hall on Tuesday morning, July 5th. It is my understanding that the footprint of the phase one building would not change. The phase one building would be changed by deleting one half of the fourth floor on the east side and the parapet would be ten or eleven feet in height. The Justus personnel stated that the fourth floor would then be approximately 85 feet from Kensington Place. The total height of the building is in question with the walk out basement. It was announced that the front of the project is the phase two building facing Smokey Row Road. This would mean that the curb cut for the service road will come in on the front of the project. It was also announced that the drainage plan for the project is still being reviewed. Although no soil test is to be conducted by Justus, it was brought out that soil from high ground would be scraped to fill in land to be level for the total project and then be compacted. In accordance Ordinance 24.99 A. 8. a. Amendment Requirements, does this provision allow for another public hearing? Respectfully submitted, John Kerr 2
