St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana, LLC is requesting a Use Variance to allow the construction of a Private Helicopter Landing Facility (helipad) and Development Standards Variances to the Carmel Zoning Ordinance for minimum tract size, perimeter bufferyard landscaping requirements, U.S. Highway 31 Corridor Overlay Zone landscaping requirements, and protection of existing trees to support the construction of a new Private Helicopter Landing Facility on real estate located on the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 31/Meridian Street and I-465. The proposed helipad is to be constructed on real estate generally located on the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 31/Meridian Street and I-465. The applications and supplementary documentation may be viewed at the City of Cannel Department of Community Services, One Civic Square, Cannel, Indiana 46032. All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above application, either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place, or may file written comments with the Department of Community Services prior to the hearing.
