I don't really have any problems with you releasing the building permit. As long as they understand thai any work done
to incorporate the access and pedestrian facilities from 146`h will require coordination of A&F and Weihe plans. The
Weihe plans do not match up with the A&F plans at the 146`h access.

When we have approved plans for the entrance on 146`h Street, A&F hassubmitted for review, Weihe will need to
incorporate the entrance into the construction plans. Changes are needed to the pedestrian facilities as#hey enter the

I have review this drawing hand have discovered that the incorrect oaupant load factor for a mercantile occupancy has
been used to calculate the occupant load. The correct occupant load factor to be used on a grade floor is 30, per table
1004.1.1 of the 2008 Indiana Fire and Building codes. This will make the occupant load 94 and will require a second exit
from the mercantile area per section 1015.1 of the IBC/IFC. Please provide a second exit from the mercantile area into
your design to comply with the 2008 Indiana Fire And Building Codes and have plans resubmitted for review.

When we have approved plans for the entrance on 146`"Street, A&F has submitted for review, Weihe will need to
incorporate the entrance into the construction plans. Changes are needed to the pedestrian facilities as they enter the

Be advised the Carmel Fire Dept. has received plans for the following project:
Rickers Convenience Store, 14580 River Rd., Permit# 14060085
We are not able to complete a plan review at this time due to full site plan drawings including utility plans not being
provided in the submittal. Additionally, a life safety plan was not provided for the proposed enclosed building. A life
safety plan that includes occupancy type, a detailed designed occupant load, required and available exiting, and code
information that the project is designed too shall be provided. In order for us to begin this plan review full size hard
copy plans with the requested information must be submitted.
