Dear Mr. Grant:
At the meeting held Monday, July 28,2014,the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the
following action regarding the Development Standard Variance(V)filed by you for the property located at 509 Wetherby
Lake Drive.
APPROVED:Docket No. 14060011 V: Development Standard Variance for 3 feet minimum pool setback from
easement,requesting pool deck to encroach 2 feet into drainage and utility easement with the Condition approval is
obtained from Board of Public Works for the encroachment.
Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance,the aforementioned Development
Standard Variance approval is valid for three(3)years. By that time,either continuous construction of the improvements
must be underway,or a written request for a one-time,six-month extension of the approval must have been received and
approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is July 28,2017.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
