Notice is hereby given that the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals (hereafter "Board"),
meeting on the 22nd day of July, 1996, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Second Floor,
City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, will hold a public hearing upon an
Application for Developmental Standards Variance Request ( "Application ") for a certain parcel
of real estate which is commonly known as 10330 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana
46240 -1024, and which lies North of Interstate 465, East of Springmill Road, West of Meridian
Street and South of 106th Street, in Hamilton County, Indiana (hereafter "Real Estate "). The
legal description of the Real Estate is as follows:
Part of the West Half of Section 11, Township 17 North, Range 3 East in
Hamilton County, Indiana, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 11,
Township 17 North, Range 3 East; thence North 89 degrees 12 minutes 45
seconds East (assumed bearing) along the North line of said Northwest Quarter
a distance of 1703.15 feet; thence South 00 degrees 47 minutes 15 seconds East
a distance of 16.50 feet to the Southwesterly right -of -way line of U.S. #31 as per
plans for I.S.H.C. Project No. St F- 222(9) dated 1973; thence South 78 degrees
38 minutes 19 seconds East, along said right -of -way line a distance of 218.74 feet
to a curve having a radius of 22773.31 feet, the radius point of which bears North
89 degrees 48 minutes 13 seconds West; thence Southerly along said curve and
West right -of -way line of U.S. #31 a distance of 771.69 feet to a point which
bears South 87 degrees 51 minutes 40 seconds East from said radius point; thence

seconds West; thence Southeasterly along the arc of said curve a distance of
146.83 feet to a point which bears North 87 degrees 30 minutes 13 seconds East
from said radius point and the Beginning Point, containing 10.931 acres, more or
less.
The Application requests a developmental standards variance from Section 25.12 of the
Zoning Ordinance of the Carmel/Clay Township, Carmel, Indiana, to permit the permanent
installation of a satellite dish on the Real Estate, per the terms of the Application and plans on
file and available for examination in the Office of the Director of Community Services, One
Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032. The requested variance includes, but is not limited to, a
variance from Section 25.12.1(2), 25.12.1(5), and 25.12.1(10) of said Zoning Ordinance.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above Application, either by
correspondence or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above - mentioned time
and place.
Written objections to the Application that are filed with the Secretary of the Board of
Zoning Appeals prior to the public hearing will be considered and oral comments concerning the
Application will be heard at the public hearing.
The public hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary by
the Board.
