As long as they understand that any work done to incorporate the access and pedestrian facilities from 146th will require coordination of A&F and Weihe plans. The site relies on the construction of a permanent site access by another project that has not yet been released for construction by the City of Carmel. 2. The site drainage relies on the construction of a lined drainage swale to connect it to the storm water facilities in the Legacy storm water park by another project that has not yet been released for construction by the City of Carmel. 3. The engineering department will request a hold on the Certificate of Occupancy until the site drainage outlet swale and site entrance (items 1&2 above) are constructed to the City’s satisfaction. I checked with Dave Barnes in our department and before we can issue the storm water permit, the following must be submitted; 1. The right of way performance bond. 2. The storm water control performance bond. 3. All necessary utility fees must be paid. 4. Right of Way permit must be obtained. The site relies on the construction of a permanent site access by another project that has not yet been released for construction by the City of Carmel. 2. The site drainage relies on the construction of a lined drainage swale to connect it to the storm water facilities in the Legacy storm water park by another project that has not yet been released for construction by the City of Carmel. 3. The engineering department will request a hold on the Certificate of Occupancy until the site drainage outlet swale and site entrance (items 1&2 above) are constructed to the City’s satisfaction. I checked with Dave Barnes in our department and before we can issue the storm water permit, the following must be submitted; 1. The right of way performance bond. 2. The storm water control performance bond. 3. All necessary utility fees must be paid. 4. Right of Way permit must be obtained. Please let us know how the owner would like to proceed. Gilliatte will be the General Contractor on this project, and we are being asked by the Developer and the Owner what, if anything, we can get started on while we are waiting on the Rickers Gas Station approval. Items we would like to be granted a release on is as follows: - Site Clearing/Removal of Top Soil 25 - Earthwork; Begin the importing of soil to bring the site to grade - Begin the installation for the foundations for Building # 1, the building closest to 146th. Based on the work list above, I need to know what can and cannot be started prior to the Ricker’s site gaining full approval. Also, since there are multiple entities involved with this project, I was hoping to get a comprehensive list of what the City of Carmel needs to get this project underway. Items such as bonds, permits, approvals, submissions, etc. Once I have this list, I can coordinate a meeting between the ourselves the GC, the developer, and the Owner to determine who is going to be responsible for completing each and every item on the list.
