The applicant seeks the following use variance for a rental car business:
Docket No. 14080006 UV PUD Z-521-08,Section 2 Permitted Primary Uses
The site is located at 1441 South Guilford Road and is zoned Park Place PUD(Ordinance Z-521-08). Filed by
Christopher Braun of Plews, Shadley, Racher&Braun on behalf of Shelley Johnston with Hertz/Penske Car Rental.

° ' additional vehicles will be stored behind the
building.
This use variance should not have a negative effect on surrounding properties as the use is locating in an
existing commercial building that already has auto oriented uses at this site, such as a NAPA Auto Parts store
and a pfm Car and Truck Care Center. Additionally,the petitioner submitted a traffic summary, and a
significant impact on traffic is not anticipated.
The Department is in support of the requested use variance.

Recommendation:
The Dept. of Community Services recommends favorable consideration of Docket No. 14080006 UV, with
the Condition that only 8 cars are stored in front of the building at one time.
