HomeMy WebLinkAboutD-2183-14 2015 C-T Salaries SPONSOR(s): Councilor(s) Rider, Schleif, Seidensticker, Sharp and Snyder ORDINANCE D-2183-14 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL,INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES OF APPOINTED A OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CLERK-TREASURER, , CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA,FOR THE YEAR 2015 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, THAT: I,the undersigned, Diana L. Cordray, Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Carmel, Indiana, as required by Indiana Code IC 36-4-7-3(d) and IC 36-4-10-7(b)hereby request the salaries and pay schedule of appointed officers and employees of the City of Carmel Clerk-Treasurer, be established beginning December 20, 2014, and continuing until December 18, 2015, and that such salary rates be approved by the Common Council as follows: DEPARTMENT&POSITION BI-WEEKLY SALARY DEPUTY CLERK-TREASURERS DIRECTOR OF FINANCE 2627.00 MANAGER,EMPLOYEE PAYROLL SYSTEMS 2144.00 ASSISTANT MANAGER,FINANCE&PAYROLL 2005.00 MANAGER, CAPITOL ASSETS 2144.00 MANAGER, COUNCIL BUSINESS 2144.00 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT I 1765.00 PART-TIME/TEMPORARY UP TO 18.00 PER HOUR Section 1. All full-time employees of the Clerk-Treasurer's Office shall receive $220.00 per year longevity pay for the first ten years of service and $280.00 per year for years eleven through twenty-five, in addition to all other forms of compensation. Longevity pay terms and conditions shall conform to the City's current longevity ordinance as adopted by the Carmel Common Council. Deputy Clerk Treasurer's shall be paid the sum of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for each scheduled/Special Council meeting attended. Section 2. Each employee of the Clerk-Treasurer's office, who is required to work on declared holiday, whether on a scheduled or unscheduled basis, shall receive thirteen dollars ($13.00)per hour premium pay for each hour actually worked on the holiday. Such premium shall be calculated to the nearest quarter hour. Section 3. Employees who meet established criteria, as set by the Clerk-Treasurer,pertaining to education and technical job function shall receive technical pay amounting to ten percent(10%) of their base pay, in addition to all other forms of compensation.
