DAMPERS IN MEDIUM PRESSURE DUCTS TO HAVE FIRE DAMPER BLADES OUTSIDE AIRSTREAM. 14. FLEXIBLE DUCT LENGTH SHALL NOT EXCEED 5'-0" {UNO), AND BE USED ONLY ON FINAL SUPPLY AIR DIFFUSER. PROPER SUPPORT SHALL BE CONSIDERED TO AVOIQ PINCHING OF THE FLEXIBLE DUCT. 15. PAINT THE INTERIOR SURFACE OF DUCTS {WHERE VISIBLE) THROUGH GRILLES, DIFFUSERS ETC. USE FLAT 'DTM' (DIRECT TO METAL}, NON-SPECULAR BLACK PAINT. 16. DUCTWORK TO SUPPLY DIFFUSERS TO BE AT LEAST THE DIAMETER INDICATED 4N THE GRILLES AND DIFFUSERS SCHEDULE OR OTHERWISE NOTED ON PLANS; WHICHEVER IS GREATEST. ALL DUCTWORK TO INDIVIDUAL GRILLES, REGISTERS ANQ DIFFUSERS TO HAVE A VOLUME DAMPER INSTALLED IN THE DUCTWORK AS FAR FROM THE TERMINAL DEVICE AS POSSIBLE AND BE ACCESSIBLE TO MAINTAIN. 17. EQUIPMENT AND MANUFACTURERS SCHEDULED ARE INTENDED TO SHOW A MINIMUM STANDARD OF QUALITY, AND ARE NOT INTENDED TO LIMIT COMPETITION. REFERENCE THE SPECIFICATI�NS FOR OTHER APPROVED MANUFACTURERS.
