finauc�.ng on thls project that we confirm to our lender tbe Obvious --
thst the proje�t has been completed (except fvr the outetanding iteas
you have listed). The best approach foX ua to take in this regard is
to indicate on the attached Temporery Certificate of Occupancy that the
project is now eomplete eince st the time of ous partial occupancy, our
lobby and foodaesviee was not complete. Accordingly� we request Yhat
you quanti£y your indicstion of your "projece complete" line by
indicating the foiiowl.ng under your "incomplete conditions" llne:

Dear Sir:
I am in receipt of a letter in reference a variance request on the Pickett
Suite Inn here in Carmel, Indiana. This request is to delete the sprinkler
system in the attic spaces and as an "equal alternative" use UL rated fire
retardant treated lumber for deck and framing. �
I strongly oppose the requested variance due to the type of occupancy and the ""�:
type of problems which might be encountered in case of a fire. With our� sit-
uation of limited manpower and resources, I feel the spri�klers are a must. L�
