Dear Neighbors,
C� I hope everyone is keeping warm and is looking forward to another
wonderful holiday season. The board has finalized the 2015 budget and it is
attached for your review. Due to the very high level of snow plow expense
in 2014, the need to continue to replace aging trees on the common area
4a and keep the irrigation system in good repair, the 2015 budget includes
increased amounts for these and other items. As a result at its October
meeting, the board approved an increase of 8% to the 2015 homeowner's
annual assessments.
On another note, our current Board President Mark Monson will be
relocating soon to Arizona. We wish him and Barbara the.best. Bill and I.
44 have very much enjoyed the opportunity of serving with Mark this year and
will miss his contributions to the board.
Mark's departure means we will have an opening on the board for 2015.
We are asking each one of you to consider serving on the board. It is a
great opportunity to have a positive impact on the neighborhood and is also
a-wonderful way to meet your neighbors and to know more about them.
Throughout the years, we have been very fortunate to have people in the
neighborhood willing to serve. Without dedicated volunteer board members,
the HOA would require a management company to oversee the
neighborhood operations resulting in increased expenses. Please contact
Matt McDonald (HOA Board nominating committee), Bill Wilhelm or myself if
you are interested in serving or would like to learn more.
