DOCKET NOS. 15020003 V, 15020004 V, 15020005 V, 15020006 V
Notice is hereby given that the Carmel/Clay Board of Zoning Appeals
meeting on the 23rd day of March, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council
Chambers, 1 Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032 will hold a Public Hearing
upon a Development Standards Variance Application to: permit the following
sign package for a new Maserati, Alfa Romeo Fiat Auto Dealership: Eight (8)
total signs consisting of one (1) ground sign and seven (7) wall signs; with one (1)
wall sign on east elevation and two (2) wall signs on west elevation not facing a
street frontage; one (1) ground sign and four (4) wall signs on the south elevation
facing 96th Street; and one (1) wall sign consisting of 100% of a logo (Fiat sign).
Property being known as 4200 East 96th Street
The application is identified as Docket Nos.: 15020003 V, 15020004 V,
15020005 V, 15020006 V
The real estate affected by said application is described as follows:
A part of the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 8, Township
17 North, Range 4 East, Hamilton County, Indiana, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section; thence North 90 degrees
00 minutes 00 seconds West 2032.90 feet along the South line of said Quarter
Section to the southwest corner of East 96th Street Auto Park Subdivision, the
plat of which is recorded as Instrument Number 200100000285, Plat Cabinet
2, Slide 538 in the Office of the Recorder of Hamilton County, Indiana; thence
North 0 degrees 08 minutes 03 seconds East 73.02 feet along the west line of
said subdivision to the north boundary of 96th Street (per Instrument Number 96-
35824 recorded in said office of the recorder); thence along said north boundary
the following two (2) courses: 1) South 86 degrees 11 minutes 09 seconds West
45.48 feet; 2) South 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West 412.93 feet to
the point of beginning of this description: thence continuing along said north
boundary of 96th Street the following three (3) courses: thence South 90 degrees
00 minutes 00 seconds West 37.07 feet; thence North 84 degrees 17 minutes
22 seconds West 150.75 feet; thence North 89 degrees 46 minutes 10 seconds
West 10.78 feet to the west line of South Half of the Southeast Quarter of said
Section 8; thence North 00 degrees 08 minutes 03 seconds East 310.63 feet along
said west line; thence South 89 degrees 28 minutes 48 seconds East 181.57 feet;
thence South 00 degrees 31 minutes 12 seconds West 56.71 feet; thence South
89 degrees 28 minutes 48 seconds East 18.50 feet; thence South 00 degrees 31
minutes 12 seconds West 267.15 feet to the point of beginning and containing
1.430 acres, more or less.
