CEILING NOTES:
1.THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR
SHALL CHECK ALL CEILING HEIGHTS AND CEILING PLENUM CONDITIONS FOR
CLEARANCE OF DUCTWORK, LIGHTING, FIRE PROTECTION, AND OTHER
OBSTRUCTIONS TO ASSURE THE FINISHED CEILING HEIGHT INDICATED. PLAN
LOCATIONS SHOWN FOR LIGHTING, DIFFUSERS, SPRINKLER HEADS, ETC. ARE TO
ILLUSTRATE DESIGN INTENT. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE FINAL
LOCATIONS. ANY CHANGES OR DISCREPANCY SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE
ARCHITECT'S/DESIGNER'S ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY, PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT
OF NEW WORK.
2.LIGHTING FIXTURES ARE DIMENSIONED FROM CENTER LINE OF THE FIXTURE.
3.CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AND INSTALL EXIT SIGNS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE
PLACEMENT OF EXIT LIGHTS WITH ENGINEER, FIRE OFFICIAL, AND
ARCHITECT/DESIGNER. ALL EXIT LIGHTS ARE TO BE BUILDING STANDARD.
4.EXISTING CEILING GRID AND TILE SHALL REMAIN, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
CONTRACTOR IS TO REMOVE AND REPLACE ANY EXISTING CEILING TILES AND GRID
THAT IS DAMAGED (BROKEN, CHIPPED, AND/OR PUNCTURED) WITH NEW TILE AND
GRID TO MATCH EXISTING.
