The applicant seeks approval of a master development, grading, and infrastructure plan for Blocks 1-5 within the Midtown Carmel PUD, on 13.626 acres. The site is located at approximately 444 S. Rangeline Rd. and extends all the way to the Monon Greenway. The site is zoned Midtown Carmel PUD (Ordinance Z-599-15). Filed by Andrew Greenwood of Old Town Development, LLC. Andrew Greenwood with Old Town Development, and David Roth and Jim Emerick with Civil and Environmental Consultants presented the project. Mr. Greenwood said the PUD for this project was approved several months ago, so this is only the development plan. The project is 14-acres and will include a variety of mixed-use buildings. The applicant seeks site plan and design approval for a temporary modular classroom structure to be placed behind the building, along the west side of the parking lot. The site is located at 651 W. Ms. Meyer said the academy has seen tremendous growth over the last two years, and additional space is needed. This project would be a temporary solution, but a permanent addition will eventually be needed. Ms. Meyer said the lighting which will be installed will not spill over to other properties, and there is no additional signage being proposed.
