NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THECARMEL BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals,
will conduct a meeting on the 27th day of July, 2015, at 6:00 p.m., in the
Council Chambers, Second Floor, Carmel City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel,
Indiana 46032, to hold a Public Hearing regarding the application, identified by
the Docket Number referenced above, regarding a request for a use variance (the
“Use Variance”) from Chapter 5.01 of the City of Carmel, Zoning Ordinance.
The real estate made the subject of the Use Variance is commonly known
as 4927 E. 146th Street, Carmel, IN 46033 and is located at the southeast corner
of Gray Road and East 146th Street and the real estate is identified by Hamilton
County tax parcel number 17-10-21-00-00-001.000 (the “Real Estate”). The Real
Estate is presently zoned S-1/Residential and is approximately 11.65 acres in size.
The Use Variance requests approval to construct a fuel station and
associated convenience store on the Real Estate.
The Application, identified with the above referenced Docket Number,
and copies of the request and accompanying plans are on file for examination at
the Department of Community Services, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032,
telephone (317) 571-2417.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above proposed
Use Variance, either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be
heard at the above-mentioned time and place. Written comments filed with the
Department of Community Services prior to or at the Public Hearing will be
considered, and oral comments will be heard at the Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found
necessary.
