General or Standard Change Order Explanation The issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) was delayed by 19 days. At this time of contract award. the intermediate date was intended to be extended along with the contract completion date, but this task was overlooked. At the pre -construction meeting, this oversight was brought to the attention of the Area Engineer, and it was agreed that this date would be extended by change order. This change order extends the intermediate completion date 140 days to April 19, 2015 and includes the winter non -work days of December through March. The contract completion date was extended the same amount of days.
