HomeMy WebLinkAboutPublic NoticeNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THECARMEL BOARD OF ZONING APPEALSDocket Number 15080005 VNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer, will conduct a meeting on the 28th day of September, 2015, at 5:30 p.m., in the Caucus Room, City Hall, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, to hold a Public Hearing regarding the application, identified by the Docket Number referenced above, regarding a request for variance (the “Variance”) from PUD Z-550-11, Section 9.12.C.The real estate made the subject of the Variance is located at 11545 Illinois Street, Carmel, Indiana and which real estate is the land assigned property tax parcel number 17-13-02-00-00-001.009 (the “Real Estate”). The Real Estate is presently zoned The Bridges PUD (Ordinance Z-550-11) and is approximately 1.57 acres in size. The variance request pertains to the maximum height of a ground sign as measured from site grade. The applicant requests the 6’ maximum height to be measured from the grade of the Road which would exceed the sign height as defined by Ordinance. The application is identified as Docket Number 15080005 V and copies of the request and accompanying plans are on file for examination at the Department of Community Services, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, telephone (317) 571-2417. All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above proposed Variance, either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place. Written comments filed with the Department of Community Services prior to or at the Public Hearing will be considered, and oral comments will be heard at the Public Hearing.
