During that time period we as a City were trying to manage the Right of Way acquisition for both Hazel Dell and City Center internally which has led to a history of these mistakes in the past. If you are ok with this now I will work with the County to obtain the correct amount, roughly$151, and then work with Steve Engelking to find the correct account to pay the balance out of. In the meantime I am working to get the quitclaim deed signed. We did get this approved by the County.The deed is set up to be signed by Oak View Associates LLC which, based on the County tax and GIS records, is the current owner of this parcel. You will not need a sales disclosure form to record this deed, but will need to pay a $5.00 auditor fee plus recording fees. You will have to pay the outstanding taxes before the deed will be accepted for recording. The current amount due for unpaid taxes is$152.28; however, I am not sure how often the County adds interest and/or penalties so the final amount needs to be confirmed before paying. Last we spoke you were thinking of having Structurepoint arrange for paying taxes and recording the deed. Just a reminder that this has been taken off the tax sale for October 7, but if not resolved I expect it will again come up for the next tax sale. Please let me know what else you need from me.
