HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE The Butler Property (3).msgLuci, I wanted to give you an update regarding the Butler compensatory storage. I met with members of their development team earlier this week and it looks like within the next month they are going to move forward with constructing the compensatory storage on site as originally approved. I will keep everyone informed if there are any changes regarding this, but it looks like they are going to move forward very soon. Thanks, Jeremy Kashman, PE City Engineer From: Snyder, Luci Sent: Friday, January 02, 2015 12:55 PM To: Kashman, Jeremy M; Blanchard, Jim E Cc: Rider, Kevin D; Brainard, James C; Duncan, Gary R; Mishler, Nicholas F; lsnyder1@indy.rr.com Subject: The Butler Property Jeremy and Jim, Well, it's a brand new year but some of the old issues are still with us. I dropped in this morning to discuss the Butler property along 96th Street at Randall Drive. Kevin and I, as well as several others on Council, have an interest in any and all developments. I don't know if the new FEMA map has been issued but would ask you to inform both me and Kevin of any requests, permits or new information that impacts this property. When last we met, we saw the check for $81,000 that Butler had submitted as a guarantee that the mitigation would be completed by a date specific. Question: Does Engineering have a trust or escrow fund for money of this sort? Where is it deposited? I did notice that the check had to be cashed by a certain date or it would become invalid and so assumed it would not just be held in the file. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
