I have been instructed to follow up on this project’s construction plan approvals and it’s floodplain status (NWC 96th/Randall). In your August 22, 2013 review letter to American Structurepoint,
you noted that your dept. would not approve the project until the floodplain mitigation/compensation plan is approved. Do you know the status and/or timing of this floodplain mitigation?
(I know you/we briefly discussed this with Alan Fetahagic at the September 17 TAC meeting, but it did not seem like he had an exact answer about the LOMR.)
Please let me know your department’s ‘game plan’ for this project, as far as allowing further construction. We might need to put a Stop Work order on the project and/or hold up the
final Certificate of Occupancy, or something to that effect.
