HomeMy WebLinkAboutRE PRIF for Woodland Terrace (2).msgNick, will you calculate it both ways, old and new fees? Hold off issuing, so I can see the difference and talk with Justus about options.
Thanks
Mike

Mike, the Woodland Terrace project was finally submitted today. Did you want us to use the PRIF rates from last year since they started working on this last fall?
Thanks,

Hi Nick,
Please read the email below. Would you be able to calculate the PRIF amount from their unit spreadsheet? We will use the same figures as we have for bickford and spectrum; $0 for
memory units; 10% fee for ‘assisted living’ units at 10%, full fee for the independent living. I’ll be around but in and out if you want to discuss.
Thank you,
Mike

Thanks Mike;
See attached unit mix. First and second floor dedicated to Memory Care and Assisted Living, total of 98 units. Second and Third floor dedicated to Independent Senior Living, total
of 87 units.
Are there any other fees this mix would apply to?

Hi Doug,
I hope you are feeling better today! the email is follow up to your phone call a couple weeks ago (sorry!)
As you can see below, DOCS has been sort of flexible with projects like Woodland. We can work out for any “assisted living” units but senior living units would be subject to full park
impact fee. The ultimate fee will depending on how the mix of regular and assisted living units. We can calculate fee for you if give me the mix.
I’ll be in all day tomorrow if you wish to discuss further,
Mike H.

Subject: PRIF for Spectrum (Highpointe on Meridian)
Hello, Nick –
I researched what our Dept. did for Bickford and PRIF, as it relates to Spectrum and what their fees will be.
For Bickford assisted living, the Planning Director supported a decrease in the Parks & Recreation Impact Fee (PRIF) so that they would only be required to pay 10% of the fee for each
assisted living unit (and $0 for the memory care units).
So, for Spectrum, we can do the same for the assisted living units to be 10% of the PRIF per unit. Then, for the memory care units we would charge $0.00, and for the independent living
units we would charge the normal PRIF rate per unit.
Please calculate the fees and forward them on to the Spectrum people and the JC Hart people. Thanks!
