GENERAL PROJECT NOTES1. THE MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING SCOPES OF WORKARE LIMITED TO BASIC DESIGN-BUILD ALTERATIONS WHICH ARE OUTLINEDIN THESE PLANS. THE DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACTORS FOR EACH TRADEMUST NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT IF THEY FIND THAT THE SCOPE OF WORKEXCEEDS THE LEVEL OF MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL OR PLUMBING WORKINDICATED ON THESE DRAWINGS SO THAT ANY NECESSARY ENGINEERINGCAN OCCUR AND ADDITIONAL PLANS CAN BE FILED, OR IF ADDITIONALINFORMATION IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO DO THE WORK IN THE FIELD. THEMECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING DESIGN-BUILDCONTRACTORS SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE STATE AND LOCALBUILDING CODES. FIRE SUPPRESSION AND FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS SHALL BE INSTALLED BY THEAPPROPRIATE DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACTOR AND MUST COMPLY WITH ALLAPPLICABLE STATE AND LOCAL BUILDING CODES. FIRE SUPPRESSIONAND FIRE ALARM DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACTORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FORCOMPLETING AND FILING THEIR PLANS AND OBTAINING THEIR PERMITS.2. MECHANICAL WORK IS LIMITED TO A DESIGN-BUILD SCOPE AND ISOUTLINED IN THESE DRAWINGS. NO NEW MAIN MECHANICALAPPLIANCES OR MAIN EQUIPMENT ARE BEING PROVIDED. ALLMECHANICAL WORK IS LIMITED TO RELOCATION OF DIFFUSERS AND FLEXDUCT PER NEW WALL LAYOUT.
