Please see the attached email form Bruce stating the both he and Jim are OK with signing off on the Shell without the path as long as the Owner issues a letter of acknowledgement stating
the he is aware of the requirement of the path prior to a C of O for any individual tenants. This will allow the Owner to submit tenant plans for review to your department.
That being said, we are trying to mobilize a sidewalk crew as soon as possible, and weather permitting, have the walk installed this week or early next week so the owner may wait until
the walk is installed in lieu of sending the requested letter. At this point, I have no idea as to what the Owner is planning to do.
In the meantime I will send the site plan showing the proposed temp walk to Bruce to make sure it will meet his approval prior to getting started.

Jeff, you would need to work with Bruce Knott with CFD as well, as I know he had questions about the walkway. Also, be advised that once the walk is complete, you would need to schedule
your final with both CFD and our department before we can issue a C/O.

Yes, my email is the sign- off from the Carmel Planning/Zoning Dept. I am not sure if any other Dept. would need to sign off on this temporary sidewalk, maybe the City Forester (Daren
Mindham)?
And, you would have to check with Nick Mishler in the Carmel Building Permits Dept. (317-571-2444) to find out if all Departments have signed off, as he is the building permits coordinator.

Due to the fact that the section of River Road adjacent to Charlie’s Building #3 is not yet reconstructed, the path has yet to be built. For occupancy, the FD is requiring hard surface
access from all egress points, so we’ve modified the site plan per the attached to show a temporary sidewalk extending to the north and south as need be to accommodate the eastern doors
of Building #3 and satisfy the FD comments.
This walk can/will be removed once the River Road design is done and final grading is determined for the permanent path.
Please let me know if there is any further action necessary at this time. They are looking to get that walk installed next week.
