The builder of record (Gibson) would ultimately be responsible for the project. If the plans have changed
we would need to have either a revised CDR or an email from someone at the state acknowledging the
changes. I’m not sure the plans to the state would technically have to come from an architect so you might

want to send them an email with what is changing and see what they say. I have attached the submittal
sheet that shows the contacts for the state.
If you have any questions, you can contact our Building Commissioner Jim Blanchard at 317-571-2450, and I
have also copied Jim on this email.

No we did not, the architect and owner are not talking anymore, so we have an unusual situation
to say the least.
We spoke with the architect a few weeks back and they just weren’t interested in doing anything
else on the project.
Sooo, with that, any idea on how we can approach this? Heading to a meeting now, but happy to
talk this afternoon if available?

Hello Nick.
Had a question for you regarding the new office building we are constructing at 580 E Carmel.
For budget purposes, we had to remove/rework/simplify the layout on the 1st and 2nd Floor of
that building. Basically took out a lot of walls!
Didn’t change anything above the ceiling, so we’ve already had those inspections along with the
wall rough inspections, but as we approach completion we just wanted to make sure we had
everything covered on your end so we don’t have any issues right at final inspection.
Be happy to discuss so we have everything in place, just let us know what you need or a good
time to talk.

The builder of record (Gibson) would ultimately be responsible for the project. If the plans have changed we would need to have either a revised
CDR or an email from someone at the state acknowledging the changes. I’m not sure the plans to the state would technically have to come from an
architect so you might want to send them an email with what is changing and see what they say. I have attached the submittal sheet that shows
the contacts for the state.

For budget purposes, we had to remove/rework/simplify the layout on the 1st and 2nd Floor of that building. Basically took out a lot
of walls!
Didn’t change anything above the ceiling, so we’ve already had those inspections along with the wall rough inspections, but as we
approach completion we just wanted to make sure we had everything covered on your end so we don’t have any issues right at final
inspection.

needing submitted before you leave for vacation (please see below). With these last items complete it is my hope we can
receive final approval from the Engineering Department and can set up the Pre-Construction Meeting for next week.
1. Weihe Engineers is taking the O&M Manuals to the Hamilton County Recorders Office today to get them
recorded…do you need notification when this is complete or will the Recorders Office contact you directly? They will
place a recorded stamp on the manual. I need a copy of the recorded O&M for our records.
2. I am meeting with the owner today at 11:00AM to get the Stormwater Permit Application signed. I will drop that off
at the Engineering Office this afternoon. Received. Thank you.
3. The “Stormwater Control Performance Bond” and the "Right of Way Bond” are being processed at this time and
should be available to be delivered to your office in the next day or so. Thank you for the update.

need to make sure that what they propose to build is what was approved by the Plan Commission ( Docket No. 13120023
DP Amend/ADLS Amend ).

Hamilton County Surveyor’s Office still needs an outlet permit request and final construction plans/drainage calculations
from our January 2014 TAC comment letter. Once we have that information and have issued the site outlet permit, then
they are good to go from our end. If you have any questions, please let me know.
