Dear Mr. Anderson:
In response to your request for assessment of the Parks and Recreation Impact Fee for Rose Senior Living, the Department finds the following:
The
project, identified as Docket Number 15020019 DP/ADLS received Plan Commission approval on May 19, 2015.
Currently, Zoning Ordinance Section 29.07.04 prescribes a fee of $1,847.00 per
equivalent dwelling unit. The total fee for 159 units is $138,525, assessed as follows:
$127,443 for Independent Living (69 units @ 100% PRIF)
$11,082 for Assisted Living (60 units
@ 10% PRIF)
$0 for Memory Care (30 units @ 0% PRIF)
Effective June 15, 2015, Zoning Ordinance Section 29.07.04 prescribes a fee of $2,031.00 per equivalent dwelling unit.
Parks and
Recreation Impact Fees are normally assessed per Improvement Location Permit increment; however, you may make a one-time payment of the entire assessment, prior to the issuance of Improvement
Location Permits for the project. Parks and Recreation Impact Fees are payable to the City of Carmel in the Division of Building and Code Services, located on the first floor of Carmel
