DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACTOR & ENGINEER TO VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS AND COORDINATE DESIGN OF RELOCATED AND NEW DIFFUSERS, SPRINKLER HEADS, FIRE PROTECTION DEVICES, EXIT LIGHTS, EMERGENCY NIGHT LIGHTS, AND THERMOSTATS. DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE HIS WORK WITH THE LIGHTING PLAN. ALL QUESTIONS ARE TO BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ARCHITECT BEFORE PROCEEDING. REFER TO MECHANICAL DRAWINGS FOR RELOCATION OF THERMOSTATS. CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY WITH TENANT THERMOSTAT LOCATIONS FOR FURNITURE LOCATION CONFLICTS BEFORE PROCEEDING. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR & ENGINEER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DESIGN-BUILD OF ALL SAFETY SYSTEMS. ENGINEER IS TO VERIFY QUANTITY AND PLACEMENT OF INDICATED SAFETY DEVICES (EXIT SIGNS, ALARMS, ETC.) AND VERIFY CONFORMANCE WITH LOCAL AND STATE CODES. DESIGN BUILD CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUBMITTING NECESSARY DRAWINGS & ENGINEERED CERTIFICATION CALCULATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR REVIEW AND OBTAINING PERMITS. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUBMITTING DRAWINGS TO ARCHITECT FOR REVIEW AND COORDINATION OF LOCATION OF DEVICES. CEILING HEIGHT IS INDICATED BY BENCHMARK UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. OPEN CEILING IS TO REMAIN UNFINISHED. LIGHT FIXTURES SHOWN WITH AN “R” ARE TO BE RELOCATED FIXTURES REMOVED DURING DEMOLITION. LIGHT FIXTURES TO BE ON MOTION SENSORS WITH OVERRIDE SWITCH AT THE DOOR. INCLUDE MOTION SENSORS OVER EACH OF THE STORAGE UNITS. THE HVAC UNIT IS TO REMAIN WITH NO ADDITIONAL DUCTWORK. WIRE UNIT TO THE NEW ELECTRICAL PANEL AND LOCATE THERMOSTAT ON THE NEW WALL. RELOCATE EXISTING EMERGENCY BACK-UP LIGHT FIXTURE. RCP3 RCP4 10. BLOCKING AND SUPPORTS ARE TO BE PROVIDED FOR ALL CEILING MOUNTED FIXTURES AS NEEDED. 11. EMERGENCY NIGHT LIGHTS. PROVIDE EMERGENCY LIGHTS AS REQUIRED AND DETERMINED BY MEP CONSULTANT. FIXTURES ARE TO BE: MERCURY LIGHTING, MER-R1. INDICATION DUAL-LITE TO BE: MERCURY LIGHTING MER-ELXTE OR EQUAL. CEILING MOUNTED EXIT LIGHT W/ DIRECTION FIRE PROOFING IS TO BE REMOVED FROM THE DECK AND OTHER ITEMS IN OPEN CEILING AREAS THAT ARE NOT NEEDED TO BE FIRE PROOFED. 12. 13. HVAC DIFFUSERS AND GRILLES ARE TO BE UNFINISHED. 14. MEP CONSULTANT TO RUN THE NECESSARY CALCULATIONS TO DETERMINE THAT THE LIGHTING LAYOUT MEETS THE ENERGY CODE. IF IT DOES NOT PLEASE ADDRESS THIS WITH THE ARCHITECT AND THE TENANT TO REVISE LIGHT SELECTIONS AS NEEDED. MEP CONSULTANT IS TO SUBMIT DRAWINGS SHOWING LOCATIONS OF ALL NECESSARY HORN STROBES, FIRE PULLS AND EMERGENCY LIGHTS. RCP2 LINEAR LIGHT FIXTURES TO BE: MERCURY LIGHTING.
