General or Standard Change Order Explanation This change order extends the intermediate completion date 47 day to June, 6th 2015. The delays are due to the Owner considering scope changes during construction. The city put the railing installation on hold to explore the possibility for placing the rail between the trail and the road instead of on the outside of the trail. And ultimately, this approach was rejected and not pursued by the city, but as the railing installation was the controlling operation at the time, the work suspended by the city delayed the completion of the project. While this delay is not anticipated to result in added costs to the project, this time extension is non -participating.
