When excavation is approximately two- thirds full, water thoroughly before placing remainder of backfill. Repeat watering until no more is absorbed. Water again after placing final layer of backfili. C. MAINTEFANCE 1. Begin maintenance immediately after planting. Landscape • PLANT 2' HIGHER THAN Contractor shall maintain trees, shrubs and all plants until final FINISH GRADE acceptance, but in no case less than 30 days after substantial completion of planting. • PRUNE BACK ONE -THIRD OF BRANCH STRUCTURE 2. Maintain trees, shrubs and other plants by pruning, cultivating REMOVE TOP ONE -THIRD and weeding as required for healthy growth. Restore planting OF BURLAP saucers.
