Thank you for submitting revised plans and for addressing our review comments. Please accept this email as the
Planning/Zoning Department’s administrative approval of the canopy. We will update the original Plan Commission file
(docket no. 04010002 DP/ADLS) with these additional canopy plans.
Please continue to work with Nick Mishler in the Building Permits Dept. to secure any permits and inspections.

Good afternoon, Michael –
Again, thank you for providing us with the digital copies of the plans. I forwarded PDF’s of the plans to four other city
departments. Hopefully, they will issue you a few review comments in the next few days or so.
Below are the preliminary review comments from the Planning/Zoning Dept. Please respond in writing or via email as
soon as you are able. Thank you.
1. Please submit an engineered and to‐scale Landscape Plan (with Planting Plan and Details) to my Dept. and to the
Forestry Dept.
2. Please submit the percent of greenspace proposed vs. the percent of greenspace existing.
3. Please submit the Utility Plan for the site. We need to make sure that the work you propose to do on‐site won’t
negatively impact any utility lines.
4. Please submit the light fixture spec sheets for any lighting proposed under the canopy. Will it be flush ‐mounted
to the underside of the roof and have flat lenses?
5. What will happen with that “no man’s land” area located just east of the new proposed canopy column, just
north of the building? Will it just be open pavement area with no striping at all? Can any of that asphalt area be
removed and made into a new landscaped area, instead?
6. Please submit to‐scale elevations of all sides of the proposed canopy.
7. How tall is the canopy? Will it need a ‘clearance’ sign?
8. Please make the canopy roof less thick. Right now, the proportions seem ‘off’ when you compare it to the
columns’ thicknesses.
