Subject:Signage proposal at 146th / Gray Road - Get Go Gas Station
Date:Monday, August 22, 2016 8:32:05 AM
Hi Maggie,
My family lives on Sue Drive in the Woodfield neighborhood close to the new Get Go building
construction. After learning that a gas station had been approved through a variance use for that
space, our family and neighbors were in disbelief and dismay. Now it has just come to our
attention that Get Go is requesting a height variance for the signage? We can easily see the gas
station itself and what will be the surrounding parking and entrances/exit from our house. PLEASE
do not make the situation even worse by allowing a height variance for any signage. Our property
values have most definitely taken a hit as it is. Keeping the signage at the currently approved height
level at least helps by assuring that it will not be visible to the surrounding homes and
neighborhood. Thank you for considering the request of the people that will actually be impacted
by the decision.
Sincerely,
Valerie Pedersen
