IF NO CONCRETE PAVEMENT IS BEING BUILT AT THE TIME THE CURB IS CONSTRUCTED, EXPANSION JOINTS SHALL BE PLACED AT THE ENDS OF ALL RETURNS AND AT INTERVALS NOT TO EXCEED 50 FEET. CONTRACTION JOINTS ON TANGENT SECTIONS SHALL BE INSTALLED AT 10 FOOT MAX. SPACING. CONTRACTION JOINTS ON RADII SHALL BE INSTALLED AT 5 FOOT MAX. SPACING.
