Dear Property Owner:
Attached to this letter is a notice of a forthcoming meeting of the Carmel Board of
Zoning Appeals to be held on Monday, January 23, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Carmel City Hall,
Council Chambers. KRG Hamilton Crossing, LLC is requesting variances under the Carmel
Zoning Ordinance to: increase the number of signs; allow a projecting sign on a building with a
front yard greater than 15 feet; and to allow a logo sign greater than 25% of the sign area; for the
theater and bowling alley uses at the Hamilton Crossing Centre retail center located at the
southwest corner of Carmel Drive and Pennsylvania Street. I have also enclosed a map of the
area identifying the site for your use and reference.
This is a public hearing and you may want to attend; however, your attendance is not
required. If you have any questions or would like any additional information, please feel free to

Notice is hereby given that the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals, at a regular meeting on
Monday, the 23rd day of January, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1 Civic
Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, will hold a Public Hearing upon the application for variances to
zoning standards under the Carmel Zoning Ordinance regarding: number of signs, 4 allowed (12
requested); a projecting sign on a building with a front yard greater than 15 feet allowed (30 feet
requested); and a logo sign greater than 25% of the sign area allowed (100% requested); for the
theater and bowling alley uses at the Hamilton Crossing Centre retail center, located at the
southwest corner of Carmel Drive and Pennsylvania Street.
The application and supplementary documentation may be viewed at the City of Carmel
Department of Community Services, One Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032. All interested
persons desiring to present their views on the above application, either in writing or verbally,
will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above-mentioned time and place, or may file
written comments with the Department of Community Services prior to the hearing. The hearing
may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
