Sister Cities Project • Reviewed materials related to Carmel's existing sister cities relationships, along with previous outreaches by the city for additional ones 2 February Work Plan • Continue to pitch relevant media on Indiana University's evaluation of the economic impact of Carmel's investment in its Central City Core. • Follow up with media who continue to express interest in Carmel's Roundabouts. • Continue reaching out to New York media who may be interested in interviewing Michael Feinstein re: Carmel and the Center for the Performing Arts • Further merchandise recent stories on Carmel in attempt to generate additional media coverage. • Continue outreach to site consultants with Carmel and an invitation for them to consider Carmel for the corporate expansions and relocations they are managing. • Share (with the Mayor and Nancy Heck) appropriate media leads that come my way; follow up appropriately. • Continue outreach for relevant speaking engagements for the Mayor and/or other Carmel representatives. Sister Cities Project • Interview Mayor and others regarding how Carmel is maximizing its sister cities relationships • Make preliminary recommendations on how those relationships can be enhanced, both for existing sister cities as well as prospective ones. • Consulting with the Mayor and others, draft an initial list of"most wanted" sister cities in Europe and perhaps South America and Asia as well. 3
